Let's talk Yakusoku no Neverland/The promised Neverland

Image
Yakusoku no Neverland is a very interesting anime, to say the least, also Season 2 of this anime is around the corner and is set to air in the first week of January 2021 so that's pretty good. It is a mix of horror, mystery, a psychological thriller which is pretty rare to come across and good ones even rarer. I think everyone should try this show because it's not every day we see such promising anime. Also, I have seen many people comparing it to the manga and saying how the manga is better but personally, I have not read the manga and I liked the anime so make of that what you will. Now, let's start with the review. (Spoiler warning of Episode 1) The STORY   The story of "The Promised Neverland" starts off with little kids in the Grace Field House, which is an orphanage. The three eldest of the family of children are Ray, Norman, and Emma. The three of them are seen as talented, skillful, agile, and intelligent base on what we see in the episode. From Hide and...

Lets talk about Ansatsu Kyoushitsu/Assassination Classroom Season 1 & 2

Image
I know the name sounds pretty dope, not gonna lie.  SYNOPSIS  When a mysterious creature chops the moon down to a permanent crescent, the students of class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Middle School find themselves confronted with an enormous task: assassinate the creature responsible for the disaster before Earth suffers a similar fate. However, the monster, dubbed Koro-sensei (the indestructible teacher), can fly at speeds of up to Mach 20, which he demonstrates freely, leaving any attempt to subdue him in his extraterrestrial dust. Furthermore, the misfits of 3-E soon find that the strange, tentacled beast is more than just indomitable—he is the best teacher they have ever had! Adapted from the humorous hit manga by Yuusei Matsui,  Ansatsu Kyoushitsu  tells the story of these junior high pupils as they polish their assassination skills and grow to stand strong against the oppressive school system, their own life problems, and one day, Koro-sensei. Ah, school. The ine...

Let's talk about Shuumatsu no Walküre/Record Of Ragnarok

So I came about this manga by accident while watching a podcast run by some YouTubers and it intrigued me. So I decided to read it and finished it in 3 days (the manga has not finished serializing, it's still being published, what I mean is that I have read till it has serialized) it was around 35 chapters and I do not regret a second of it.  I will be truthful about it, I do not read a lot of manga and this manga made me want to read me also this is my first manga review on this blog so.....yesssss.  First of all, this manga will only appeal to people who like fictitious action with a sense of good storytelling, and characters. As an action junkie myself I love this shit. I suggest that you read the first 5 chapters and then decide whether you like it or not. Also if you are here for historical accuracy, you will not get it. But I don't mind it at all, it makes up for it with its creative and amazing storytelling and character development.  SYNOPSIS High above the...

Let's talk about Tonari no Totoro/My Neighbor Totoro

Image
I watched this movie yesterday and I really liked it. I don't know what was about this movie but it drew me in. Watching this was like the wind blowing in your face, it was just really pleasant. There was no complex plot, no complex story characters, etc. It was just a very simple movie and I really liked it. Synopsis In 1950s Japan, Tatsuo Kusakabe relocates himself and his two daughters, Satsuki and Mei, to the countryside to be closer to their mother, who is hospitalized due to long-term illness. As the girls grow acquainted with rural life, Mei encounters a small, bunny-like creature in the yard one day. Chasing it into the forest, she finds "Totoro"—a giant, mystical forest spirit whom she soon befriends. Before long, Satsuki too meets Totoro, and the two girls suddenly find their lives filled with magical adventures in nature and fantastical creatures of the woods. The movie itself was made in 1988, by Studio Ghibli, this was a huge movie at the time and won many ...
